Bio
Phil Jimeno has served in the Maryland State Senate for 20 years. For three decades, Senator Jimeno has served in constituents well, missing only one of work on the Senate floor. As Chairman of the Executive Nominations Committee, it is up to Senator Jimeno to oversee all aspects of the Senate's role in confirming appointments of the Administration.
During his tenure, Phil has been a leader on a variety of issues, most notably Juvenile and Criminal Justice. As this continues to be an issue important to many Marylanders, you can expect to see more leadership from Senator Jimeno regarding all aspects of public safety.
