Dear Friend, Like me
and most Americans, I am sure you were
disgusted at the political grandstanding of Tom
DeLay and Republicans in Congress in the tragic
and very personal situation of Terri
Schiavo. I thought you would want to see
the new poll results below reflecting what
Americans think about this political
intervention: Whatever one’s personal beliefs
about this intensely difficult issue,
government should not overrule the choice of an
